Description
Since 1946, Domaine Pascal Chevigny, in close proximity of Romanee Conti and La Tache in Vosne-Romanée, “Aux Champs Perdrix” was first planted by Pascal’s maternal grandfather, it was then expanded by acquiring other vineyards on the Côte de Nuits hillside, including the Vosne Romanee Premier Cru “Les Petits Monts” and the plot of “La Combes Brulees”.
From 1984, Pascal has built his reputation as an excellent winemaker, absolutely oriented towards the pursuit of quality. His Vosne-Romanée Villages and Premiers Crus won 3 stars or 4 stars in Hachette Wine Guide’s “Coup de Coeur” (best picks).
Recently rebranded as Domaine Chevigny-Rousseau and now joined by daughter Alexandrine, his elegantly styled wines are wildly attractive. With very limited production, Pascal’s wines have been under the radar as mostly consumed within exclusive distribution in EU, Japan and US markets.
Grape Variety : Pinot Noir

Clear purple. Lovely bloom of rose petals and ripe raspberries on the nose, very correct in feel with just a trace of oaky glow. Fleshy and open with an easy charm, perhaps even a little too placid and understated.
