Terre Paisible is an estate located on Wemmershoek Road in Franschhoek, South Africa, known for producing high-quality wines and extra virgin olive oils. It emphasizes a commitment to sustainable agriculture and a deep respect for the land.
The estate is home to rare blocks of registered Old Vine Sauvignon Blanc, with some vines dating back to 1987, highlighting their dedication to preserving viticultural heritage. Winemaker Adam Mason crafts wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Franschhoek Valley, employing a minimalist approach.
Their wine portfolio includes the “Terre Paisible Range” (featuring wines like “Les Dames de 1987” Sauvignon Blanc and “Isabelle” Rosé) and the “Vigne d’Or Range.”
Beyond wine, Terre Paisible cultivates 22 hectares of olive orchards, producing three distinct styles of extra virgin olive oil from five Italian olive varieties.

Harvested from 37-year-old vines, this Sauvignon Blanc ex presses its origin through
subtle varietal characters and alluring texture .
After whole bunch pressing and minimal settling the wine was fermented in stainless steel and 500L French oak barrels, maturing on lees for 9 months prior to bottling.

Harvested from 35-year-old vines, this Sauvignon Blanc expresses the tropical, ripe fruit spectrum of the variety showcasing pineapple and nectarine aromas.
Ripe Starking apple and thinly sliced cucumber are reflected on the delicate palate, which is balanced by velvety smooth length.
