Beyond wine, Terre Paisible cultivates 22 hectares of olive orchards, producing three distinct styles of extra virgin olive oil from five Italian olive varieties.
The estate also is home to a world-class medical aesthetic spa, aiming to offer a holistic retreat experience. Terre Paisible’s focus is on creating a legacy of quality and sustainability, with its products embodying the harmonious blend of nature and craftsmanship in the Franschhoek Valley.
This wine is a blend of two distinctive components – seamlessly brought together to ensure a balance which is memorable. Within the blend, 50% of the grapes comes from our own Terre Paisible vineyards in Franschhoek valley – contributing rich, voluptuous character and fruit intensity. Aged in new French Oak barrels for 10 months giving structure and oak complexity. The remaining 50% was carefully selected from vineyards in Stellenbosch – known for smaller berries and concentrated flavours. Fermented and matured for 9 months in 500L neutral barrels this component provides crisp finesse and vibrance, resulting in exceptionally well-balanced Chardonnay.
Our Chardonnay is a distinctive blend of grapes from our vineyards, as well as from renowned cool-climate vineyards. A balance that is so subtle and finessed that a true connoisseur will appreciate the nuances that come together so seamlessly.
Lime golden in appearance. Flashy Chardonnay aromatics. Custard apple, Key Lime pie, brioche, and citrus blossom. The wine has a finely balanced palate held together by bracing acidity and creamy mouthfeel due to maturation in oak barrels.
